Maple Story...

The game I went to after quitting FFXI for survival of my sanity. Well, anyway; ever since I quit FFXI and went to Maple Story I've been enjoying it much more. Maple Story is basically a uber cute anime style smiley monster ownage mmo that's super addictive for people that are patient. For the rest of you people that like fast pace games, this probable isn't the game for you, but I'm a total loser low life that does pretty much nothing but school work and gaming... Mostly gaming, hehe...

Anyway you start off making a character and being able to change different things like eyes, hair, clothes, and starting weapon; but mainly the hair and eyes are what count since you get new armor and weapons later. So pretty much you start out as a n00b and your stuck on "n00b island" (as I like to call it), and you do quests there for exp and mesos, "money", and kill little monsters with smiley faces on them, and some with dumb looking faces that look mad. Once you reach either lv8 or 10 you can change to 1 of 4 jobs: 3 of the jobs you must be lv10 to change to, (Magician is the exception) and can change at lv8 Warrior, Rogue/Thief, or Bowman. At lv30 you can change to adv 2nd job, and at 70 3rd adv job; but I'm not going to get into it.

Also there is a lot of SK-ing "Steal kill" where n00bs go and kill the monster your attacking especially Mages from lv18+. For a long while, then, other jobs such as assassin catch up and start owning mages but anyway the game is still very fun if you like this style online game, and best of all its free. There are some lag problems every now and then but no whining about it... it's a free game!
