Random Reasons I Hate FFXI
I wanted to make a topic on this cause I quit FFXI a while ago and feel I should say my many reasons for hating FFXI. I'll be adding more later when I can think of more hehe. So, here we go. @_@
1. Random server shutdown "please forgive us for this inconvenience" yes thank you SE for doing server checks at very random times and then gotta love it when they say "We are extending the time for 2-12 hours please forgive us for this inconvenience"
2. Waiting 5+ hours for a pt cause you're a dark knight or some other job and there aren't enough people that play the game that make parties.
3. Gil sellers make FFXI such a great game for every one gotta love armor that was 200k and then goes up to 20mil in like a month great isn't it?
4. Being forced out of pt because you don't have good enough armor that cost millions of Gil.
5. Waiting for a NM to pop that can take 2-3 hours + maybe even 21-24 hours or even better a week! and some your forced to camp if you want to complete a quest and when it does pop and you've wasted all that time camping it for your 21-24 hours come to find out some total jerk comes along a minute before it pops and gets it and runs off joy!
6. SE lied about limitless possibilities, talk about stretching it to the max I wonder why I see so many of the same tarutaru running around in the same armor with same hair hmmm...
7. Takes for ever normally to get anyone to help you out with quests or not enough of the right job or someone quits in the middle of the quest or d/c.
8. PS2 port so no good looking graphics for the pc version just same old trash and after hearing there going to make it look better for only Xbox I wonder if there just paying them off and were to lazy to do anything for the pc one.
9. People are normally bishes on the game.
10. Too many people talking about how bad it is in the game cause of prices rising and talk about perverted trash that most people don't want to hear about.
11. Not enough places to pt at most of the time there's 3 pt in all areas.
12. GM's are pretty much no help.
13. Too many manthras taking advantage of dudes for Gil and items not enough mithra.
14. Many of the jobs in the game are just warriors with special abilities such as ninja... ninja is a show off warrior that can use two weapons instead of one and has magic "Ninjutsu" like Utsusemi-Ichi or Hojo-Ichi which is basically a copy off of slow and blink and many other jobs are just the same job with little different skills and magic.
15. The events are really poorly made and you end up wasting more Gil then the item you're trying to get its worth and it ends up just taking up more room.
16. Not enough storage to hold your items,
And more when I can think of more.
17. Running is more like jogging and you have to be a thief to use a skill that lets you run as fast as a Chocobo for a short amount of time, or you can wait till your like lv70 get some boots that your probable never going to get cause you need a HNM LS to kill the NM that drops the ABJ which spawns at a random % once every week and there's a chance that some other LS will get it instead of yours and the boots don't even make you run that fast or you can be a lv70 something bard and play a song that makes you run faster. . . @_@
18. You have to use a 3rd party program to run windowed mode cause SE is to lazy to make a windowed mode them self
